Durante el mes de septiembre, el equipo de producción del Salsódromo ha realizado varios encuentros con las asociaciones de baile para escuchar las peticiones y propuestas de este gremio.
En la última reunión, en la que participaron las asociaciones de baile (Asobasalsa, Asosalcali, Fedesalsa, Fecac, Distrito Salsa), miembros de Corfecali y la Secretaria de Cultura de Cali, se llegó a una concertación para la realización del Salsódromo 2023.
En este encuentro se acordaron los siguientes puntos:
- Aumento del 29 % para las escuelas de categoría 1 sobre el presupuesto inicial de 2023, que era de $39’000.000, quedando en $50’310.000 y para la categoría A se incrementó en un 26%, pasando de $19’500.000 a $26’325.000.
- Aumentaron la cantidad de escuelas de 54 a 63 y el número de bailarines pasó de 1300 a 1440 (incluye a bailarines, categoría infantil, categoría juvenil, escuelas invitadas, comparsas, vieja guardia, escuela abanderada).
- Se dio a conocer la selección de Luis Eduardo Hernández ‘Mulato’ como director artístico del evento.
- Se abrirá, nuevamente, la convocatoria para las escuelas juvenil adulto e infantil que quieran participar en el Salsódromo. No obstante, quienes se inscribieron previamente no tendrán que realizar de nuevo el proceso.
